I would like to know if it is possible for my husband and I, who currently co-own a 2005 vehicle, to refinance it. He is still paying on a Chapter 13 repayment plan, and I have been discharged from a bankruptcy Chapter 7, since 2006. My credit score may be better than his, and I am wondering if we could qualify for a refi under either or both of our names. We owe less than a year's worth of payments, and the financial institution involved has turned out case over to an attorney who is demanding we catch up on only "two" payments, doing so by adding an additional $200.00 to our already high truck payment! We have struggled to make this payment, so I don't see how we can catch it up, and they are threatening to take this vehicle that is nearly paid for! We need someone to help us, but no one will!
